About the event
You’re warmly invited to join Erin McElroy, for a 60-minute breathwork session (plus time to stay on afterward if you’d like) on Monday, November 10th at 5:30 pm Mountain Time.
What is breathwork?
Breathwork is an active meditation that uses conscious breathing to quiet the mind and open the body’s natural channels of healing. Through the breath, we can move stuck energy, process stored emotions, and access deeper clarity and peace. Each session offers a chance to connect more fully to yourself — beyond thought, into feeling and presence. This is an active breath that builds energy and momentum — often creating a vibrational, full-body experience that can feel like a gentle altered state or a workout for your nervous system.
Here’s how the evening will flow:
5:30 pm: Welcome + opening circle (10-15 minutes) — we’ll check in, share what brings us here, set intention.
~5:45 pm: Guided breath-work (~45 minutes) — you’ll be invited to lie down, get comfortable, and allow the breath to guide you.
~6:30 pm: End of formal journey — then from ~6:30 to ~7:00pm (or longer if needed) we’ll remain in space for sharing, questions, integration.
What to do to prepare:
In the ~2 hours beforehand: fast or eat lightly for easier breathwork.
Wear comfortable, relaxed clothing (avoid anything constricting around waist/chest/throat).
Set up a comfortable “nest” to lie down for ~45 minutes (mat, blankets, bolster under knees).
If you want, use a small pillow or flat cushion for your head, and have a bolster or extra pillow/scarf nearby (especially if you might want to make sound or move energy).
Eliminate distractions: turn off your phone/notifications so you can drop into the experience fully.
Please position your camera so I can see your body (to offer real-time guidance) and lie down within screen view.
Optional but recommended: eye mask, headphones, incense/sage, a stone or crystal to hold, essential oils (for example lavender) to support relaxing into the space.
Have tissues and a journal nearby — this work can bring up emotions, and you may want to record insight or reflections afterward.
