This day-long group psilocybin mushroom experience is intended for men and the various healing intentions they bring to medicine work. We honor the noble aspects of traditional models of male strength and masculinity, while also recognizing that many men carry hidden wounds and navigate emotional life with little support or guidance. Vulnerable experiences involving anger, fear, sadness, loss, shame, guilt, and aliveness often go unaccompanied and unattended to as boys, men, fathers, and sons, and are often kept out of relationship as men become partners, providers, protectors, high-performers, and leaders. This group provides a sacred space for men to connect more meaningfully with various parts of themselves and each other through medicine work.

The Men’s Medicine Circle involves a distinct container of safety and support that draws upon the spirit of brotherhood among men as participants journey inward and alongside each other. The roles and identities men often inhabit will first be recognized and honored before being laid down to rest during this journey of learning, growth, and healing. After entering ceremonial space, participants will be directed inward for several hours during their individual mushroom journeys. Participants will travel together as a group of inner explorers but travel alone as well. Using the primary navigational tools of intention and attention, each member will explore the inner landscape of his consciousness within the circle of the group and the supportive presence of licensed natural medicine co-facilitators.

A two-hour integration session will take place the following morning during which participants will share, connect, and begin to process and integrate their journey experiences while continuing to benefit from the medicine of the group itself.

Group size: 4-8 participants with 2-3 licensed natural medicine facilitators.
